The Henry Royce Institute at the University of Cambridge

You are invited to join the Opening Event for the newly-installed Henry Royce Institute facilities for advanced materials research at the University of Cambridge. This will be held on Wednesday 17 October 2018 at the Maxwell Centre, Cambridge.
The event will feature a Welcome Address by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Stephen Toope, and the unveiling of the official plaque by Professor Dame Julia King, Baroness Brown of Cambridge. The Henry Royce Institute’s Chief Scientist, Regius Professor Philip Withers, will give an overview of the national programme of activities undertaken by the Henry Royce Institute. They have also invited two industrial researchers to give their perspective on interacting with Royce@Cambridge. The event will also feature a series of short talks from early career researchers, highlighting the new cutting-edge science that will be enabled by the Royce@Cambridge facilities.
