Entrepreunarial Science Technology Awards

Entrepreneurial Science & Technology awards
Cambridge Independent are delighted to announce our inaugural Entrepreneurial Science & Technology awards .

These Awards will seek to promote and give exposure to some of the incredible start-ups and scale-ups that are part of the Cambridge business community in the following genres: AI, Fintech, Cleantech, Biotech and Medtech. Cambridge Independent, a family owned newspaper is passionate about its local community and wants to celebrate its 1st birthday by giving accolade to the incredible businesses that are all part of this unique City. We will use our business networks, our website, app and pages of our very popular new weekly paper, along with our sister publications across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and our business magazine IQ to help generate entries and drive awareness.

We are in communication with ARU, the Judge, Barclays Eagle Labs and VC companies to help feed us with nominations and promote these Awards and of course we are already covering some of these start- ups and scale- ups in our Business section. The event will take place at the end of the Venturefest East 2017 on September 21st at Newmarket Racecourses from around 5.30pm-6pm ish  http://www.venturefesteast.co.uk/  giving nominees and sponsors of the Awards the added exposure that this impressive and popular event offers.

The evening will start with a relaxed networking event giving your colleagues the opportunity to network with the nominees, sponsors and other guests over canapes and drinks. The actual Awards will take place in a theatre style setting with a chance for further networking afterwards.

Sponsors would have exposure in paper prior to the event explaining why they wanted to be part of such a unique opportunity , take part in the Judging process at the end of June and possibly even offer tips on pitching to the entrants. One of your representatives would go up on stage to present the Award and we would run several pages of post event coverage.

We will be promoting the event via social media, on our website and in paper. The sponsors’ logos would be included in all promotional activity.

Sponsorship is £3750+vat. Headline sponsorship is £7950+vat and you would have the opportunity to speak on the day, receive additional coverage in Cambridge Independent and have your name attached to the event “Entrepreneurial Science & Technology awards in association with……”. If you were able to offer the winner or winners a mentoring opportunity as a prize that would be an additional added bonus.
