Graduate Project and Account Manager
Polysolar is a developer of large-scale photovoltaic solutions for both the domestic and commercial market.   Due to recent success, we are expanding our operations in Cambridge and are seeking a Graduate Project Manager.   This role is demanding and extremely rewarding and projects can range anywhere between £25K and  £1mil.   Predominantly based from Cambridge with travel to London when necessary.  Full training and excellent support with career development is a key benefit to this role.
Your role will develop over time to incorporate the following responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing multiple projects (up to 10 projects at any time)
  • The team is involved at all stages of the project life cycle from environmental sustainability, to development, design and build.
  • Supervision of detailed design
  • Site audit and technical due diligence assessment
  • Trouble-shooting, condition assessment, failure investigation, performance optimisation, legislative compliance and process safety
  • Taking new products from initial specification to full design

  • Opportunity to work closely and directly with clients, offering building services design across a multitude of projects.
  • System analysis and specification
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
  • Research and analyse customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
  • Assist and lead projects when required

Key Requirements
  • The idea candidate for this role will be degree level educated (min 2:1) in an engineering bias subject
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal
  • Collaborative and engaging with customers and partners
  • Strong work ethic, highly motivated when working independently and as part of a small team
