Nantong city comes to a Greensoul pilot site.

On Friday 6th January Cambridge Cleantech hosted a delegation of city and business leaders from the city of Nantong in China. The delegation was in Cambridge as part of an exploratory mission to find out about the latest developments in cleantech for smart cities and smart buildings. In addition to meeting the leader of Cambridge County Council (and enjoying a traditional English Afternoon Tea!) the delegation also got to hear about our members cutting edge Cleantech technologies for Smart Cities and Smart Buildings, including an introduction to the Greensoul project. China invested over $32 billion in overseas Cleantech projects in 2016 {http://ieefa.org/ieefa-report-china-set-dominate-%E2%80%A8global-renewable-energy-boom-expands-lead-u-s/) and the market there is only set to grow as the Chinese Government sets increasingly ambitious targets for the take up of Green Technologies to combat the air, land and water pollution challenges that have developed alongside China’s rapid industrialisation and modernisation. The Chinese market is a great opportunity for the Greensoul commercialisation strategy and we look forward to many future opportunities to present cutting edge technologies to international delegations and visitors.
