Circular Economy
Designing out waste while reusing, recovering and regenerating materials.
Previous events have included: a roundtable discussion on single-use plastics culminating in a report sent to government; a knowledge exchange event on waste management with Jiangsu local government; and a debate on the role of agri-tech in reducing waste. We regularly support our members’ events too, e.g. events organised by the British Antarctic Survey on tackling plastics in the ocean.
This special interest group is chaired by Stephen Bates (Director, Envirocomms) and supported by Martin Lamb (Chairman, Enval), and Dr. Stuart Wagland (Senior Lecturer, Centre for Bioenergy and Resource Management, Cranfield University).
