MOBI-MIX

Cambridge Cleantech is proud to be part of MOBI-MIX, an Interreg 2 Seas programme aiming to decarbonise road transport in cities through effective implementation of shared mobility and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions.

The MOBI-MIX cities are working to decarbonise road transport (cars in particular). Within the project, they will facilitate the private sector to more effectively implement Shared Mobility solutions (for instance, e-bikes or shared cars) and MaaS solutions (in other words, the integration of various forms of transport services into a single mobility service accessible on demand).

Objectives

To reduce 365,000 kg of CO2-emissions, by reducing 2.6M fossil-fueled car-kilometers in the urban environments of five cities or regions in the 2 Seas area.

To foster long-term uptake, MOBI-MIX will follow two key points.

Firstly, the project will embed the lessons learned and best practices in the urban mobility plans of participating cities. As this project aims to serve 1.5 million inhabitants, Mobi-Mix will lead to a significant CO2 reduction. Secondly, Mobi-Mix aims to create a comprehensive decision-making framework for urban mobility planners of cities across Europe to facilitate the implementation of MaaS and Shared Mobility more effectively.
