Evogreen has a portfolio of over 150 sustainable energy systems installed at educational establishments, local-authorities and commercial businesses in all sectors across the UK. Our installed products (Biomass boilers, Solar PV and Voltage Optimisation) provided a way for organisations to embrace sustainable energy technology while benefiting in a financially rewarding way by simply paying an annual lease amount.

Evogreen was founded with a clear goal in mind; to enable organisations to lower their energy costs and reduce their carbon footprint without having to pay for the project outright. We are passionate about helping our clients have a better understanding of how green energy can help reduce CO2 emissions whilst saving money and generating an income.

The role


A pivotal role in ensuring the continued successful running of Evogreen by being the central cog for all operational and commercial aspects. The Operations and Commercial Manager role has a high level of autonomy and spans a wide and varied remit from maintaining relationships with all the portfolio clients and funding partners, to hands-on assessment of the renewable energy assets.






The role of Operations and Commercial Manager at Evogreen has four main priorities:

1. To work closely with the Evogreen Technical Manager to assist with and oversee the performance of our portfolio of renewable energy systems (Solar PV, biomass, and voltage optimisation) by ensuring it is continually monitored and optimised.

2. Taking overall responsibility for the relationships with both the portfolio schools and the funding partner for the projects.

3. Responsibility for, and reporting to the company’s owners on, the P+L and financial performance of Evogreen versus the agreed business model.

4. Administrative responsibility (e.g insurances, invoicing, HR, payroll, vehicles).

Five years working experience, a background in renewable energy, proficient with numbers and analytics (book-keeping skills would be an added bonus) and a robust commercial mindset would all certainly help, but are not essentials.
