Who should apply?
Eligible companies must offer products or services focused on the Agrifood Tech economy. Innovations include sustainable farming, food production, supply chain optimisation, and food waste reduction.
Registered businesses with main operations in the UK, whose innovations are at least at proof-of-concept stage and who are looking for equity and or debt funding within the next 12 months may apply.
What to expect
Carbon Limiting Technologies (CLT) are delivering the events series for Innovate UK and will assess your application and inform you of the outcome, providing you with time to prepare and practice your pitch. This will include a mandatory rehearsal session with a CLT expert to provide feedback on your pitch and support your preparation. On the day, you will be allocated a space to exhibit your company as well as having the opportunity to pitch to and engage in conversation with investors and corporate buyers of your solution. The session will operate on a speed pitching basis, with small groups of investors coming to you in 10-minute slots for face-to-face pitching to ensure that you are able to engage with as many investor and corporate attendees as possible.
